Gehl machines stay busy at these tracks moving miles of concrete barriers, constructing protective fencing, building bleachers, laying television cable and performing a host of other tasks.
This relationship began in 1990 when Gehl found an opportunity to sponsor two tracks on the Champ Car circuit. By providing its skid loaders and DL Series telescopic handlers for use in the construction of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach street circuit and the renovation of the Road America road course in Elkhart Lake, Wis., Gehl became the "official construction equipment supplier" to both tracks.
Today, Gehl compact equipment is instrumental in building and maintaining tracks at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Infineon Raceway, the Milwaukee Mile and Road America.
Gehl has also lent a helping hand to the Denver Grand Prix, Memphis Motorsports Park, Dover Downs, and the Gateway track in East St. Louis. |
