Position Summary

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Materials Manager coordinates the flow of components and planned production to ensure machines are delivered on time to the customer’s satisfaction. The Manager is responsible for the supply chain activities; buying planning, receiving, warehouse and shipments.

     1 / Control Plan Production Manager (PPM)

 Participate in the preparation of PU PIC

 Manage and control the PPM per production line with the Production Unit Manager

 Manage and control the DSO in collaboration with the SCP (Supply Chain Planning) team 

2 / Supply Management

 Manage the flow component to ensure availability in accordance with commitments PPM

 Define the supply strategy according to the needs of the production (PPM)

 Improve the relationship and performance of suppliers

 Optimize inventories of materials and components in compliance with the objectives set by the Management 

3 / Warehouse Management

 Define the physical flows management and ensure its optimization

 Ensure the reliability of receptions and stocks (physical / theoretical stocks)

 Ensure the supply of components to production units / assembly lines

 4 / Management Transport and Shipping

 Supervise the transport business of finished products and components

 Manage and optimize finished products stocks

 Track & Optimize transportation costs

 Manage customs and Declaration of Trade in Goods in collaboration with the finance department 

5 / Management of Supply Chain Performance

 Establish and control the SC budget

 Ensure the reporting of performance and associated action plans

 Be responsible for the stocks

 6 / Supply Chain Management Team

 Lead the Supply Chain team and set its goals

 Ensure the recruitment, training and development of team members



Hiring Qualifications




High School degree and an advanced degree or experience in Supply Chain and/or Materials Management.

5 years or more in materials management in a manufacturing environment with at least 2 years on leadership

Skills Knowledge and ability in production control, purchasing and /or shop operations

Maintain a high level of awareness of latest tools and techniques of

 Supplier selection, negotiating, and supplier communication

Excellent project and time management skills

Competent in MS office and order entry databases

Customer service skills and experience

Ability to manage multiple priorities
